Kim Herperger is an award-winning communication strategist and writer with more than 30-years’ experience. She specializes in working with non-profits, credit unions and other co-operative organizations. Before starting Strategic Spark, Kim spent 14 years in Communications at SaskCentral, where she managed projects like the launch of the credit union system intranet, and the provincial image advertising and sponsorship campaigns.

After three decades in the business, Kim’s amassed a sizeable collection of hats. A few of her current favourites include communication strategist, issues manager and writer/editor. She’s equally at home developing communication strategies to support business issues as she is writing annual reports, online content, feature stories or white papers.

Kim is an active, accredited member of the International Association of Business Communicators. She’s a past president of IABC Regina and past chair of the association’s Canada West Region. Kim’s has judged IABC awards at the local, national and international level, and her own work has won national and international awards.

A social media junkie and Scrabble fanatic, Kim can’t let a day pass without spending at least a half hour reading.
